Two Days Husband In Tangerang Keeps Wife's Body In The Bathroom, Residents Say They Feel Something Strange

TANGERANG – A husband with the initials AS (25) in Karawaci, Tangerang could not hide his anxiety after an argument with his wife, PS (22). As a result of the altercation he experienced, AS allegedly strangled his wife to death. Ironically, the US put PS's body in the bathroom.

Based on information in the neighborhood around the crime scene (TKP), one resident named Yani said that he found out about the incident after smelling an unpleasant odor from the victim's house. Yani suspected that the body had died three days ago, Saturday, February 12.

However, Yani admitted that he did not know whether the victim died with injuries or not.

"Residents are confused about where his wife has never seen him. I know when the police found him, his wife was in the bathroom,” said Yani when met at the location, Tuesday, February 15.

Yani revealed that this married couple (couple) had lived in the rented house since 2021. Therefore, he did not know more clearly the nature of the victim and perpetrator.

"He lives alone. There are 5 months," he said.

Meanwhile, another resident named Farel said that the perpetrator had surrendered himself to the police.

"You know that suddenly the police came with their husband, who said he gave himself up," said Farel.

Based on the information gathered, AS and PS on Saturday, February 12, had a fight that night. It is known that the US at that time strangled his wife until she could not breathe.

Komarudin again said that the altercation occurred at the Bugel Mas Indah Housing Complex, Karawaci, Tangerang City, Sunday, February 13, at 02.00 WIB. After doing the strangulation, the perpetrator was confused and did not leave the house for a full day. Finally, AS decided to leave the house and go to his family in Bogor, on Monday, February 14th.

"The perpetrator was still in the house, because he was confused, he was not going anywhere, only on Monday, he returned to his parents' house in Bogor, told his family and then told his uncle," said Komarudin.

The perpetrator's uncle, who knew about the incident, immediately took AS to the Tangerang Metro Police. To take responsibility for their actions.

"His family handed over the perpetrator to us. From there, we will go to the crime scene,” he explained.

Komarudin said the victim died about 2-3 days ago. An unpleasant smell wafted out of the house.

“Neighbors do smell. But to our crime scene," he said.

The perpetrator has now been detained by the Tangerang Metro Police for investigation by the police.

"Currently it is still undergoing examination," said Komarudin.
