BANDA ACEH - Syiah Kuala University Teaching Hospital (RSP USK) Banda Aceh has opened a COVID-19 vaccination service for the general public from children, youth, and the elderly (elderly).

There are four types of vaccines provided by USK Hospital, namely Sinovac, Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Moderna. USK RSP also provides booster vaccines for people aged 18 years and over who have already received doses of vaccines 1 and 2.

"Children aged 6-11 years will be given the Sinovac vaccine, youth aged 12-18 years will be given the Pfizer vaccine," he said.

Then people aged 18 years and over can be given the Moderna vaccine. For people who want to get vaccines at the hospital, they only need to bring an identity card such as an ID card.

"If you are under 17 years old, you can bring a photocopy of your family card," he said.

In addition, people who want to be vaccinated will also be asked for an active cellphone number so they can receive a vaccine certificate in the PeduliLindung application.

"So, as soon as we are vaccinated, we input the data. It only takes one hour, and the vaccination certificate is already entered in the PeduliLindung application," he said.

In opening this service, the USK RSP cooperates with many parties, including the Regional Military Command through Kesdam, the Aceh Regional Police, private parties such as the Salim Group, Kimia Farma BUMN.

"We are also assisted by students, doctors who are taking specialist programs. We are also assisted by health workers in the faculties of medicine, nursing, and dentistry," he said.

He said that people who have been vaccinated at USK RSP are generally aware of themselves.
