BANDUNG - The Bandung District Court, West Java, held a trial for the verdict of the rape case against 13 female students, which was attended by the defendant Herry Wirawan in person.

Herry was present at the Bandung District Court at around 09.15 WIB using the Bandung District Attorney's car. He got out of the prison car under the escort of the prosecutor's office.

"Please show me the way, show me the way, we'll give you a photo later," said the prosecutor's officer who escorted Herry into the Bandung District Court courtroom, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, February 15.

When presented, Herry wore a red prison vest and wore a black skullcap with handcuffed hands. While being led into the courtroom, Herry did not comment anything.

The trial of Herry Wirawan's decision was held openly but in a limited manner. The only people who can enter the courtroom are those who bring the antigen test results.

At the entrance to the courtroom, strict security was held both by the prosecutor's security officers, the court, and also by the police.

The plan is that the Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) Asep N Mulyana will also attend the trial. However, until 10:00 WIB, the Head of the West Java Prosecutor's Office had not yet arrived.

Previously, Herry Wirawan was demanded by the public prosecutor for this disgraceful act. The prosecutor assessed that Herry's act of raping 13 underage students was a very serious crime.

In addition to the death penalty, Herry is also required to be sentenced to chemical castration and pay a number of fines and confiscate assets to be auctioned. The prosecutor also demanded that Herry's identity be made public.
