JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has opened a selection of positions to fill 11 vacant positions internally. This opening is carried out to fill positions that do not have a definitive official until now.

"To strengthen the KPK's HR management to support the implementation of corruption eradication tasks, which continue to develop in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 19 of 2019, the KPK has held an open selection for high leadership positions or JPT Madya and Pratama," said KPK Secretary General Cahya H. Harefa in an online press conference, Monday, February 14.

Cahya detailed that for the Middle High Leadership Position (JPT), the KPK is now looking for a Deputy for Coordination and Supervision as well as a Deputy for Education and Community Participation.

Meanwhile for JPT Pratama, there are a number of positions opened, namely Director of Investigation; Director of Coordination and Supervision of Region 4; Director of Gratification and Public Service; Director of Inter-Commission Network Development and Agencies and Director of Anti-Corruption Campaign and Socialization.

There is also the Head of the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board; Head of the Center for Strategic Planning for the Eradication of Corruption; Head of Human Resources Bureau, Head of Public Relations Bureau.

"A total of 11 positions currently do not have a definitive official," he said.

Furthermore, this open selection will be a selection committee (pansel) formed by the Civil Service Supervisory Officer or PPK KPK. There are four teams that are responsible for this process.

"A total of 24 people (members of the Pansel, ed) consist of 14 people from external parties and 10 people from internal KPK parties," said Cahya.

For teams from external parties, he continued, they consist of experts in their fields and come from various backgrounds, namely academics, professionals, to state officials and bureaucrats.

"As for the committee members from the KPK internal parties, they consist of deputies and directors at the KPK," said Cahya.
