Police Secure Students In Motorized Convoys In Denpasar

DENPASAR - A convoy of students in Denpasar, Bali, is in the spotlight amid the temporary suspension of face-to-face learning. The police arrested the students who were in groups on motorbikes.

Denpasar Police Chief AKBP Bambang Yugo Pamungkas said his party received information from the public regarding a group of motorized students from the direction of Tohpati to By Pass Ngurah Rai, Sanur, Denpasar on Sunday, January 13.

This convoy certainly disrupted the flow of traffic, including disturbing public order.

"Based on community reports, our team went to the field to conduct insulation in a number of areas and managed to secure the children and their motorbikes," said AKBP Bambang, Monday, February 14.

The student group was divided into Jalan Sudirman Deenpasar and Sesetan, South Denpasar. The police conducted an insulating against this group of motorized students.

A total of 12 motorbikes were secured including 18 students. In addition, dozens of other students were hunted with e-TLE.

"Anyone, don't try to disturb the security, I will stand firm and take firm action with the help of the relevant agencies to dissolve all those who disturb the Kamtibmas in the Denpasar area and make Bali the center of world view," said the Denpasar Police Chief.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the Denpasar Traditional Village Council (MDA), Anak Agung Sudiana, fully supports the actions taken by the police to take action against young people who disturb Denpasar's security.

"We from the Denpasar City MDA support what the Denpasar Police Chief and his staff have done in maintaining security. Where Denpasar is a barometer of Bali's security and we are ready to work together to handle the convoy of young people," he said.
