JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. Of the 530,041 specimens examined, 55,209 confirmed cases of COVID-19 were found.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,763,252 and active cases have increased by 22,532 to 335,340," said Health Ministry data, Saturday, February 12.

Today's recovered cases increased by 32,570 cases, bringing the total to 4,282,847 recovered people. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 107 people, bringing the total to 145,065 people.

The province with the most new cases was in West Java with 14,106 cases. With this addition, the total is 823,243 cases.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health also noted that the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 76,964,762.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people this week was 22.17 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 30,604 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

So far, 188,060,706 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 135,209,233 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

Meanwhile, the third dose of COVID-19 vaccination is 6,885,645. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
