Police Reveal The Motive Of The Murderer Of Vicky Firlana At The TPU In The Ulujami Region, South Jakarta

JAKARTA - The police revealed the motive for the murder of Vicky Firlana at the TPU Kober, Ulujami, South Jakarta (South Jakarta), Thursday, February 10.

Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation at the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Yefta Ruben, said the motive for the murder was due to economic demands. They were given a monetary reward.

“The motive for this perpetrator is economic. During the initial interrogation, they received money in return," Yefta told the media at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Saturday, February 12.

However, when asked what the nominal amount was, Yefta admitted that his party was still investigating the perpetrators.

"In the meantime, we need further investigation. Later we will convey the complete information when we have caught the brain of the culprit. Because it requires conformity with the specific acknowledgment of the amount of money given," he said.

For information, the police have also arrested the perpetrator of the murder with the initials MYL. From the results of the examination, he acted as the executor

Subsequently, DR was arrested in the West Jakarta area. Yefta said that DR acted as a liaison with MYL's executor.

“DR was arrested (area) in West Jakarta. (DR) strangled the victim and then also served as a liaison to the brain of the perpetrator, who is still being chased," he said.
