Odd-Even Entry To Bandung, Transportation Transportation Detours 253 Vehicles At Pasteur Toll Gate

JAKARTA - The Bandung City Transportation Service (Dishub) recorded as many as 253 vehicles that were turned around within two hours of the odd-even implementation at the Pasteur Toll Gate, Bandung City, West Java.

The Head of Transportation Control and Order at the Bandung City Transportation Service, Asep Kuswara, said that the data was obtained from odd-even blocking carried out from 14.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB.

"At this toll gate, we have inspected about 347 vehicles, 253 vehicles were turned around," Asep said, quoted by Antara, Friday, February 11.

He said the vehicles that were turned over were vehicles that did not comply with the odd-even provisions on that day.

For example, he said, on Friday, February 11, 2022, only vehicles that can pass have a number with the last odd number.

As for the number plate with the last digit even, it will be reversed by the officer. However, this is excluded for vehicles that have a D number plate from the Greater Bandung area.

"And there are also exceptions for a number of vehicles such as state-owned cars, military and police official cars, ambulances, and others," said Asep.

Meanwhile, the city of Bandung is now included in an area that has implemented a Level 3 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) to prevent the growth rate of Omicron cases.

Based on data from the Bandung City COVID-19 Task Force, the number of active COVID-19 cases has now reached 3,372 people. In the past week, the daily number of cases increased from 200 to 700 people.
