Police Thwart The Circulation Of Methamphetamine With Codes In Jakut, Goods Are Wrapped In Plastic Chinese Tea 'Guanyinwang'

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya thwarted the circulation of narcotics type methamphetamine weighing 1.55 kilograms in North Jakarta. The methamphetamine was packaged in a package with a certain code.

"The total gross weight is 1,550 grams (1.55 kilograms)," said Head of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Directorate of Drugs at the Metro Jaya Police Commissioner Dede Suhatmi in his statement, Wednesday, February 9.

In this case, a man with the initials PJ alias J was named a suspect. However, the role of the suspect has not been explained because it is still in the development process.

The disclosure of the methamphetamine narcotics case began with information from the public that there was suspected drug abuse in the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta.

With this information, the police started an investigation. Until finally, the police saw the figure of suspect J around Jalan Pluit Karang Molek XIV and was immediately arrested.

"A pack of cigarettes was found in which there was a plastic clip containing the type of methamphetamine weighing 15 grams with code A," said Dede.

Then, the police immediately developed by examining the suspect. As a result, it was discovered that the suspect kept other methamphetamine at his home in the Pluit area, North Jakarta.

"A green plastic bag of Chinese tea was found with the words Guanyinwang in it, which contained 900 grams of methamphetamine and coded B," said Dede.

Not only that, the police continued to search the suspect's house. Where, 9 clips of methamphetamine were found with different weights and codes. "9 packages of methamphetamine with codes C1 to C9. The total is about 6.35 grams," he said.

Currently, development is still ongoing. Meanwhile, the suspect has been detained at Polda Metro Jaya.

Then, the suspect was charged with Article 114 Paragraph 2 subsidiary Article 112 Paragraph 2 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
