The Body Of Rokhim, A Resident Of Jeli Village, Was Found At The Bottom Of The River, Tulungagung Police Confirmed That The Victim Was A Single Accident

TULUNGAGUNG - Tulungagung Resort Police, East Java, confirmed that the discovery of a man's body on the riverbed of Jeli Village last Wednesday was purely a case of a single accident. There is no indication of intent or murder.

"Yes, the results of the TKP (case) and forensic investigation are purely a single accident," said Tulungagung Police Traffic Head AKP Muhammad Bayu Agustyan in Tulungagung, Antara, Tuesday, February 8.

With this conclusion, the investigation of the case is closed. The police did not find any indications or evidence that led to the alleged intentional death of Rokhim (42), a resident of Jeli Village, Karangrejo District.

Previously, Rokhim had been reported missing by his family since leaving the house the day before he was found, namely Monday, January 31.

The victim, who is a plywood factory worker, left the house to say goodbye to buy shoes. But until late at night, the victim had not returned. Rokhim is known to drive a black Suzuki Shogun Nopol AG-4826-TU motorcycle.

The victim was later found dead by residents at the bottom of the river under the Jeli Village bridge. When he was first found, Rokhim's body was initially unrecognizable, because when he was found his face was covered by his T-shirt which was exposed to the head.

"The family has seen the body and confirmed that the victim is Pak Rokhim," said Karangrejo police chief AKP Sudariyanto.

The mysterious death of Rokhim had sparked speculation of a murder victim. The reason, on the back of the head found a gaping and elongated wound.

The victim's motorbike was also declared missing, before being found at the bottom of the river not far from where the victim's body was found.
