When Netizens Fidget Editing Minister Basuki's Photo So That Jokowi-Luhut-Sandi Doesn't Ignore It: Raisa Until Natasha Romanoff Is Brought In

JAKARTA - Carrying out a tough task in President Joko Widodo's cabinet does not make Basuki Hadimuljono lose his sense of humor. In the midst of a serious meeting at the State Palace, the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), who is fondly called Pak Bas, was able to appear to lighten the atmosphere.

Recently, Pak Bas stole the public's attention with a viral photo during a series of visits by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to North Sumatra.

The photo shows Pak Bas sitting alone. In fact, the recorded images show that President Jokowi and Coordinating Minister for Investment and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Uno are discussing.

Apparently this photo was uploaded again by the official admin of the Ministry of PUPR on Twitter @KemenPU. Mimin, that's the modern term for the word admin, asking netizens to edit Pak Bas's photo so that he is no longer alone.

"Please help with editing, so Pak Bas isn't alone," tweeted PUPR's Mimin, reported by VOI, Monday, February 7.

It didn't take long, netizens' thumbs began to flood the comments column with meme edits that invited laughter.

The @WSetyori account, for example, edited the photo and put the North Korean leader, Kim Jong Un as Mr. Bas' coffee friend.

Editing @GurBac**** is not half-hearted. Pak Bas was instead placed in a meeting atmosphere which was attended by superheroes at Marvel such as captain america, Natasha Romanoff to Vision.

Not wanting to be left behind, the @susuber**** account edited a photo of Pak Bas sitting with Raisa Andriana, the singer who was born in Jakarta on June 6, 1990.

"Mr. Bas is accompanied by Raisa, min," he tweeted.

Previously, the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani was also curious to ask what actually happened. "Why is Mr. Bas sitting alone and apart with a silent face in the photo with President @Jokowi and Pak @Luhut.Pandjaitan and mas @Sandiuno on Samosir Island?" he asked via Instagram @smidrawati quoted on Sunday, February 6.

With a chuckle Minister Basuki responded to the curiosity of the state treasurer. "The photo is viral, huh...": he said

"(Yes) it's funny that Pak Bas's face is sullen alone, think he's angry or sad," said Sri Mulyani.

From the illustration of the conversation above, it is clear that these two very strategic assistants to the President still show a humanistic attitude in the midst of busy routines and high work schedules. It seems that the Minister of Finance has just proven the validity of the opinion that Basuki Hadimuljono is indeed a minister who has a good sense of humor.
