The Spike In COVID-19, The Tangerang Regency Government Reactivates Isolation Houses In Each District

TANGERANG - The Tangerang Regency Government (Pemkab) has activated centralized isolation houses in each sub-district. This is done to anticipate the spike in COVID-19 in the region.

Tangerang Regency COVID-19 Spokesperson, Dr Hendra Tarmizi, said the activation of isolation houses in each sub-district since January 23, 2022. The goal is to prevent the spread of the virus.

"Yes, in each sub-district, reactivate isolation houses. About 2 weeks ago it was active, Kelapa Dua, Legok, Cisauk and Legok have started," said Hendra when contacted by VOI, Sunday, February 6.

Hendra said that the capacity in each sub-district is different. However, the largest area is currently in Kelapa Dua sub-district, Tangerang Regency.

“(For) the capacity varies, there are 20-30 in each sub-district. The largest area in Kelapa Dua is 8 people. The remaining 2-5 people," he said.

Hendra ensured that no COVID-19 patients undergoing isolation in his area were detected by Omicron. They average the delta variant.

"There is no Omicron, but Delta or Omicron is the same, the point is to adhere to health protocols," he said.
