Kakorlantas Prepares Personnel And Facilities To Welcome MotoGP 2022

JAKARTA - The Head of the Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) Polri Inspector General Firman Shantyabudi prepares personnel and supporting facilities in securing traffic at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, to welcome the 2022 MotoGP event.

"If we really need to lower aid equipment, we will push personnel here (Mandalika Circuit). We will communicate that later and everything will be controlled by the NTB Police Chief," said Firman in a written statement quoted by Antara, Saturday, February 5.

He said the ranks of the NTB Regional Police had mature readiness in serving tourists and the community. Considering that the NTB Police have good experience in welcoming the 2021 World Superbike (WSBK).

This was conveyed by Firman during the supervision of the preparation of the 2020 pre-season and MotoGP security at a hotel in West Lombok, NTB.

The activity, which was attended by the invisibility and the head of the office, is expected to serve as a guide for improving public services.

"In general, this has been conveyed by the Director of Lantas Polda NTB. Of course, we believe that the NTB Police have learned from the implementation of the 2021 Superbike," he said.

Firman said many facilities have been improved by the government in welcoming the prestigious event.

"We see a lot of improvements physically in the field and the readiness of personnel. From all aspects we see, the physical building of the road to the route and parking location," he added.
