Become A Witness In The 2017 Jambi Province RAPBD Bribery Case, Independent Commissioner Of PT Adhi Persada Property Examined By KPK

JAKARTA - Investigators from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have examined a number of witnesses in the bribery case that ratified the Jambi Province 2017 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (RAPBD) with the suspect Apif Firmansyah, at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters.

One of the witnesses examined was Cecep Suryana, who is the Independent Commissioner of BUMN PT Adhi Persada Property.

As reported by Antara, Saturday, February 5, the results of the monitoring at the Jambi Regional Police Headquarters, apart from Cecep being examined by KPK investigators, there were also three other witnesses, namely H. Jais, Ulfa Haryani, and Muhammad Ali. The witnesses were examined from 09.30 WIB to 16.00 WIB.

H Jais, who came out of the examination room at around 12.43 WIB when asked by the media crew, admitted that he was being examined as a witness for the suspect, Apif Firmansyah.

"I was examined as a witness for Apif and I know Apif, but they are only friends," he said.

H Jais admitted that he was asked about Apif's close relationship with Masnah Busro, who is currently the Regent of Muaro Jambi.

"I was asked by KPK investigators regarding the close relationship between the suspects Apif and Masnah and whether Apif was a successful team from Masnah, I have explained everything to KPK investigators," said H Jais.

Jais admitted that he did not know whether Apif was Masnah's successful team. In addition, H Jais admitted that he was not Masnah's successful team.

"I know he is the regent and I am not a successful team," said H Jais.

Asked if he had contributed to the bribery case of the legalization of the Jambi 2027 RAPBD, Jais admitted that he had not contributed.

To note, the residence of H Jais in the Telanaipura area, Jambi City, some time ago was searched by the KPK. However, it is not known what the KPK brought from the residence of H Jais.
