TANGERANG - After going viral on social media about piles of Rp. 100,000 in cash, the Managing Director of Perumda Pasar Niaga Kerta Raharja, Tangerang Regency, Syaefunnur Maszah resigned from his position.

This is done as a form of responsibility for his actions.

"I submitted my resignation to the Regent, the Regional Secretary in order to provide public education," said Syaefunnur to reporters at Jendral Sudirman, Tangerang City, Wednesday, February 2, afternoon.

Syaefunnur explained that the incident occurred on September 15, 2020. At that time, he intended to make a joke video for his colleagues to always work honestly.

"But when Tiktok was made on September 15, 2020, Haqqul was sure (honestly) that it was just me (reminding) 'Watch out for this money, it's hot' haredang haredang, that's the context," he explained.

Regarding who made the video, Syaefunnur revealed that it was his son who made the content. Then distributed to friends at work or business.

"If I'm not mistaken my son. (So) Meaningful jokes, but people who listen. 'HOW IS THIS SO POWERFUL' so there are multiple interpretations,” he said.

He admitted that he only shared the video with his friends. He suspected that someone had downloaded and uploaded it to Tiktok.

"What I sent to the Perumda. What's circulating is definitely from a download, not from Tiktok. From Tiktok, it's not like that," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a viral video on social media showed a man showing off a pile of IDR 100,000. It is known that the man is the Managing Director of Perumda Pasar Niaga Kerta Raharja, Tangerang Regency, Syaefunnur Maszah.

Through a video uploaded to his Tiktok account, it appears Syaefunnur is taking piles of money using a spoon and fork as if he wants to eat.
