Danrem Antasari Checks Readiness Of IKN Guards

BANJARBARU - The commander of Korem (Danrem) 101/Antasari Brigadier General TNl Firmansyah checks the readiness of soldiers in guarding the relocation of the State Capital (IKN) in North Penajam Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

"The State Capital Law (UU IKN) has been ratified by the House of Representatives (DPR), we the Army in South Kalimantan are following up by checking the soldiers in today's troop deployment ceremony," said Danrem Antasari in Banjarbaru, quoted by Antara, Monday, 31 January.

He emphasized that the Antasari Korem under the ranks of Kodam VI/Mulawarman and related elements were committed to overseeing the implementation of the relocation of the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago.

According to him, as citizens, all Indonesian people must work together to make government policies successful.

"There should not be any attempts to create disturbances in any form. The TNI is ready to be at the forefront of guarding IKN in East Kalimantan," he asserted after leading a troop deployment at the Wiratama Yonif 623/BWU field in Banjarbaru City.

Danrem Antasari also emphasized that early detection steps by his staff must continue to be carried out so that any potential security disturbances that may arise can be anticipated and prevented.

It is known that IKN in Penajam Paser Utara is the territorial area of Kodam VI/Mulawarman. For this reason, the Antasari Korem, which is under the Kodam, helped to secure the South Kalimantan area as the gateway for IKN.

"South Kalimantan has a strategic role in supporting the success of IKN in East Kalimantan, therefore the synergy and solidity of all elements in this area must be maintained," he said.
