The 500,000 US Dollars Received By Pinangki From Djoko Tjandra Baru DP, How Much Is It?

JAKARTA - Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari is said to have set a rate for the fatwa so that Djoko Tjandra will not be executed in connection with the Bank Bali cessie case at the Supreme Court (MA). The value is more than 500 thousand US dollars or equivalent to Rp7.5 billion.

Attorney General's Director of Investigation for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the AGO, Febrie Ardiansyah, said that the Rp7.5 billion was only a down payment (DP).

"What's more, (500 thousand US dollars) is the DP (down payment)," Febrie told reporters, Thursday, September 3.

However, Febri did not specify how much money was requested and agreed upon between Pinangki and Djoko Tjandra. It's just that, said Febrie, Pinangki's request for money from Djoko Tjandra was because he had to pay a lot.

Likewise, he did not specify who Pinangki would give the money to. Febri said, everything will be revealed if this case goes to trial.

"There are many items, many of them. Later the trial must be opened, the costs are various," he said.

Based on the information gathered, Pinangki submitted a proposal worth US $ 100 million or the equivalent of Rp1.4 trillion. However, Djoko Tjandra did not agree with this. Disebuktan, Djoko Tjandra only agreed to 10 million US dollars. So this 5oo thousand US dollars is the down payment.

Earlier, Hari Setiyono, Head of the Penangkum Office of the Attorney General's Office, emphasized that 500 thousand US dollars of money allegedly received by the Pinangki prosecutor was handed over to Andi Irfan. Andi Irfan is said to be actively involved in arranging fatwas at the MA.

"From the start, we have conveyed the allegations of around US $ 500 thousand, the allegation was accepted by Prosecutor P, but whether it was accepted directly, was it a third person, the investigators determined one more person. It was through (Andi Irfan) that this money arrived, ”he continued.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office has named three suspects, namely Djoko Tjandra, Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari, and Andri Irfan Jaya.

Djoko Tjandra was named a suspect in giving bribes to Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. Meanwhile, prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari was named a suspect in accepting bribes.

The third suspect, Andi Irfan Jaya, is suspected of having participated in an evil consensus in the processing of a fatwa at the Supreme Court. Andi Irfan is also suspected of brokering money from Djoko Tjandra to prosecutors at Pinangki.
