TANGERANG - A woman in Tangerang, Banten, was caught stealing a cellphone at Cipadu Market, South Kreo, Larangan. The perpetrator was arrested by her own victim, Intan.

Intan, a trader at the market, said that the theft occurred on Saturday, January 29. At first, two men and a woman came to the stall. Shortly after, the other two came back to their place.

"There is a woman who wants to go shopping and she says she wants to buy it, first two people arrived, another pair came, they were playing around," said Intan when met at the location, Sunday, January 30.

While she was busy serving the customers who were suspected of being the perpetrators. Without realizing that her cellphone was stolen by the gang.

According to Intan, the gang of thieves divides the roles, namely diverting and executing. This is done to smooth the action.

"When I went out, his friend called, he had gone to his girlfriends, he had taken my cellphone," she said.

When the gangs fled, there was one woman she managed to catch. The perpetrator was then taken by market officers and handed over to the local police.

"She wants to run away, I hold the woman, the officers have taken her," she said.
