Two Unscrupulous Village Employees In Tangerang Use Methamphetamine, Village Head: Handed Over To Rehabilitation Center

TANGERANG - Members of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pakuhaji Police have arrested two employees of Gaga Village, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency, Banten, for allegedly being involved in the abuse of methamphetamine.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Pakuhaji Police, Iptu Iswandi, confirmed that his party had arrested two staff members of Gaga Village.

"Yes, that's right, yesterday's incident was on Friday (28 January)," he said.

He revealed that at this time his party could not explain the chronology of the arrests of the village officials.

"It can't be explained. The evidence doesn't exist because they're just users," he said.

He said from the results of the investigation, it was known that the village employees were only users and now they have carried out the rehabilitation process in the South Jakarta area.

"Yes, users, now they have been rehabilitated," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Gaga Village, Muhamad Sodikin, admitted that the two employees had been detained by the Pakuhaji Police for drug abuse.

"There are two employees, now it's been sorted out and handed over to a rehabilitation center," he said.

With the arrest, he said, the two village officials would receive strict sanctions.

"It will be discussed with the family later. If I was clear from the start that if I was involved in drugs, I would not hesitate to give sanctions," he said.
