Preventing Brawls Between Students, Tambora Police Lowers Personnel At A Number Of Vulnerable Points

JAKARTA - Tambora Police stationed a number of personnel to guard the Angke Tambora Flat to prevent brawls between students in the area.

"We anticipate brawls every day during school hours. The location changes according to the vulnerability and information from the community," said Tambora Police Chief Kompol Faruk Rozi when contacted by VOI, Friday, January 28.

Efforts to prevent brawls are also carried out by conducting cyber patrols against a number of accounts belonging to students in the Tambora area.

"We also monitor social media. We hold routines both openly and privately in areas that are prone to brawls, there is information or results of cyber patrols," said the Sector Police Chief.

In addition, the Tambora Police have also increased routine patrols in areas prone to student brawls. This is done so that there are no fights between students which are increasingly disturbing the community.

"Following up from the Sector Police, the area is regularly guarded and patrolled. To this day, members are still on standby to anticipate the vulnerable hours after school," he said.
