JAKARTA - West Jakarta Mayor Yani Wahyu Purwoko inspects two houses that will be demolished and rebuilt so that they become habitable buildings. The two houses are located on Jalan Kemanggisan Ilir, RT 06/07 and RT 015/08 Kemanggisan Village, Pal Merah, Jakarta "We have conducted a survey of two of our residents who cannot afford to repair their houses. The house only has two rooms, a small living room and a bathroom which is attached to the kitchen. The house also looks low. Its height is only about 160 centimeters. (cm). The condition of the tile is also damaged and many have holes. "If it rains it can flood in the house because it leaks," said Idup Muhammad (65) as the owner of this house. In this narrow house, Idup lives with his two children and two grandchildren. They live in "medium" conditions. Day-to-day, Idup only relies on calls from people as a personal driver. With this assistance from the West Jakarta City Government, Idup is very grateful. Some of the burden has now been lifted because there is no need to think about the condition of the house that is no longer suitable for habitation.
