Because It Took A Long Time To Take A Gas Cylinder Hose, The Husband Took A Machete And Then Stabbed The Wife

TANGERANG – A wife in Tigaraksa, Tangerang, was almost killed by her husband. The husband, with the initials KR, admitted that he was annoyed with MRA, because it took too long to get the gas cylinder hose.

Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the incident occurred at Villa Sodong, Sodong Village, Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency, Monday, January 24.

"The police have arrested the perpetrators and the perpetrators have also admitted their actions," said Zain when contacted, Friday, January 28.

"(The perpetrator) was annoyed with his wife because she was told to take rubber to tie the gas hose for too long," he continued.

According to Zein, the perpetrator during an argument slashed a machete on his wife's shoulder. So the victim was covered in blood and almost died.

"Not only securing the perpetrators, the police also secured evidence of sharp weapons (sajams) used to persecute the victims," he said.

Zain explained that his party had also taken the victim to the Balaraja Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for a post-mortem.

For his actions, the perpetrator is suspected of Article 44 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence.
