SURABAYA - The Surabaya City Government launched the "Sayang Warga" application or the Community Assistance and Protection Service System at Taman Anchor, Jambangan District, City of Heroes, East Java.

Mayor of Surabaya Eri Cahyadi said the Sayang Warga program is a data collection system that aims to identify problems in the field. From the results of the data collection, the city government hopes to provide faster and more targeted interventions.

"With Love for the Citizens, it is automatically residents who provide data to us (the municipal government) of Surabaya. That's why I want to continue to have empathy between residents, there is love between residents in the city of Surabaya," said Eri Cahyadi, quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 27. .

According to him, by involving cadres and the community in data collection, the Surabaya City Government will know more about the conditions of its citizens. Thus, the intervention provided by the municipal government through the relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) is expected to be faster and on target.

"This application aims to record residents, starting from the head of the family (KK), residents who are sick, residents need help, malnutrition including income per family. OPD intervention will be based on this data," he said.

Eri Cahyadi hopes that all cadres and assistants convey the data as they are, according to the conditions of the residents in the field. Through a synergistic community movement, Mayor Eri ensured that the city government continues to strive to improve the welfare of the citizens of the City of Heroes.

"So convey the data as it is. What is the condition of the people of Surabaya, then the government's target will be right. Because my job is here to treat, if you never know what the disease is, we can't treat it," he said.

After launching the program, Mayor Eri together with the Surabaya City Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) carried out direct monitoring and data collection by cadres around the location.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the Surabaya City PKK Mobilization Team (TP), Rini Indriyani explained, the mechanism for collecting data on Sayang Warga was carried out by around 28,848 cadres accompanied by regional assistant officers with four scopes of activities, namely, mentoring stunting babies, pregnant women, mothers giving birth and postpartum as well as house surveys. healthy.

"I hope the use of this application will not become a new burden. But it will become a new spirit to realize the welfare of the community," said Rini.

One of the health cadres in Karah Anisah Village said that the Sayang Warga application makes it easier for cadres to collect data from the community. Moreover, the information data submitted through this application is directly connected to the Surabaya City Government.

"Hopefully, from this application, more people in Surabaya can be helped and from the RT/RW side, they can find out the status of their own citizens more quickly," he said.

As is known, the Sayang Warga application can be accessed through the website https://sayangwarga.surabaya.go.id/sayangwarga. Each cadre who has been appointed by the kelurahan has an account as a login basis to fill out the data collection form in the application.
