218 Houses Damaged By Earthquake In Banten Get Help Immediately

LEBAK - A total of 218 housing units for the victims of the 6.6 magnitude earthquake that occurred on Friday, February 14 in Lebak, Banten Province, were declared to have passed the verification and were eligible to receive stimulant funding from the government.

Quoted by Antara, the Head of the Lebak Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), Febby Rizky Pratama, said that based on the results of the initial data collection after the tectonic earthquake occurred in the Pandeglang Well Waters, 282 houses were damaged.

However, after verification that they met the requirements to receive stimulant funds for home repairs, 218 units consisted of 171 lightly damaged, 32 moderately damaged and 15 heavily damaged.

The verification implementation involves BPBD, the Public Works and Public Housing Service as well as the local Land and Settlement Service.

"Today we are also verifying the additional data that came in as many as 57 housing units", he said in Lebak, Thursday, January 27.

According to him, his party is targeting the house verification data collection to be completed this Sunday, so that it can be reported as soon as possible to the Banten Provincial Government and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB).

His party hopes that Friday, January 28 it can be signed by the Regent of Lebak, Iti Octavia, and can be reported to the provincial and central governments.

"We hope that the stimulant funds for house repairs can be disbursed as soon as possible", he explained
