After 9 Hours of Examination, Pinangki Went Silent with Her Hands Cuffed

JAKARTA - The investigators from the National Police-Criminal Investigation Unit questioned Pinangki Sirna Malasari. Through the examination, they wanted to reveal the alleged flow of funds from Djoko Tjandra.

After the examination, Pinangki appeared to be wearing a pink AGO prisoner vest with her hands cuffed. It was the first time Pinangki appeared in public after being detained some time ago.

Just like this morning, Pinangki refused to comment to the media crew. She chose to shut her mouth tightly. The examination lasted about 9 hours at the AGO Round Building.

Pinangki's current appearance was different from before. During her examination on August 26, Pinangki still looked fashionable. She was wearing a green dress with sunglasses. However, this time, she looks more casual.

Meanwhile, the AGO investigators have completed the investigation files of Pinangki Sirna Malasari. The investigators have also submitted this file to the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

"We handled the case by investigating the stage 1 case file to the public prosecutor," said Kapuspenkum Kejagung, Hari Setiyono, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 2.

After submitting the file, the public prosecutor will further examine if there's something incomplete. Once everything's complete, the investigator will hand over files, evidence, and the suspect to the public prosecutor.

"We will notify the investigator whether the file is complete or not. If it still needs improvement, the investigator will submit it within 7 days," said Hari.

In this case, the Attorney General's Office (AGO) has named three suspects. They are Djoko Tjandra and Attorney Pinangki Sirna Malasari. And most recently, the South Sulawesi Nasdem Party administrator, Andi Irfan Jaya.

Djoko Tjandra was named a suspect in giving bribes to Prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari. Djoko is subject to Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a of Law 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption, as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001.

Or the second suspicion, article 5 paragraph 1 letter b of the Law on the eradication of criminal acts of corruption or the third is Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law.

Meanwhile, Pinangki Sirna Malasari was the recipient of the bribe. She is subject to Article 5 letter b of the Corruption Crime Law.
