North Sumatra Police Are Still Investigating The Case Of Blank Vaccine Injection For Elementary School Students In Medan, There Are No Suspects Yet

MEDAN - North Sumatra Police investigators are still investigating the case of injecting blank vaccines allegedly carried out by health workers (nakes) to two Wahidin Elementary School (SD) students in Labuhan Deli, Medan.

"Development is carried out by analyzing videos, digging up information and facts on the ground, we are not in a hurry to determine the suspect," said Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatran Police Kombes Hadi Wahyudi in a written statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 26.

Hadi said, in addition to deepening by auditing the number of vaccines used to achieve vaccinations (targets) and others.

The case was initially handled by the Belawan Police. However, to speed up and explore and facilitate the coordination of the investigation, the case was taken over by the North Sumatra Police.

"To facilitate the investigation of the empty vaccination case, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation of the North Sumatra Police has followed up," said the Head of Public Relations of the North Sumatran Police.

Previously, North Sumatra Police personnel examined witnesses in the case of injecting empty vaccines into two Wahidin Elementary School (SD) students in Labuhandeli for a more in-depth investigation.

The North Sumatra Police have examined 13 witnesses, including two Labuhandeli Elementary School students who were victims of the empty vaccination.

Regarding the motive for injecting the blank vaccine into the student, it is still under investigation. In this case of blank vaccination, no one has been named as a suspect.

The North Sumatra Police examined health workers (nakes) suspected of injecting empty vaccines into two elementary school students in Labuhandeli whose video went viral on social media (medsos).

The North Sumatra Police responded quickly and studied the viral video footage and examined the related parties.

The North Sumatra Police have examined the vaccinator G and the officer, namely W. Both are health workers at the Delima Martubung Hospital and will also continue to investigate by asking for expert witness statements.

The video was recorded during the vaccination of children aged 6-11 years at SD Wahidin Medan Labuhan, Monday, January 17, which was held by the Medan Labuhan Police, Belawan Harbor Police, in collaboration with Delima Martubung Hospital.

The video was recorded by victim K's parents when their child O (11) was being vaccinated.
