ACEH - The Education and Culture Office (Disdikbud) of Banda Aceh City is targeting 24,000 elementary school (SD) students to receive vaccine injections in approximately two weeks.

"The number of students who really want to be vaccinated is around 24,000 people for elementary schools," said Banda Aceh Education and Culture Head Sulaiman, in Banda Aceh, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, January 26.

He explained that the 24,000 primary school students targeted were outside the state madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MIN) students under the Ministry of Religion and other general children. achieve maximum results, which is about 4,000 students.

"We have vaccinated around 4,000 students in these two days and this continues with a two-week target for students in Banda Aceh," he said.

Sulaiman said that during the process of vaccinating elementary school children, so far there have been no obstacles in the field, whether they are sick due to side effects or serious rejection.

"For children's vaccines until today, thank God, there are no obstacles, and hopefully we pray that it will continue to run smoothly," he said.

According to Sulaiman, the small obstacle that is currently being faced is that there is still little resistance from parents or guardians of students and that is one of the challenges for his side.

"Another obstacle is that there are still parents who do not agree and that is a challenge for us. However, in the next two weeks we will continue to pursue the target, after that we will evaluate what other obstacles are," said Sulaiman.
