JAKARTA - A gay sex party at the Kuningan Suite Apartment, South Jakarta was attended by dozens of participants. The number of participants is quite large because they are members of the community.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus said that members of the same-sex loving community use social media to communicate.

"They have the WA (WhatsApp) group. They call their group Hot Space. In WA there are 150 people. This was started in February 2018," Yusri told reporters, Wednesday, August 2.

Not only through the short message application, members of the gay community are also part of the Instagram social media. The number of followers of Instagram accounts has almost reached hundreds of people.

"On Instagram there are also around 80 on Instagram. That's the community," said Yusri.

The sex party was held at the Kuningan Suite Apartment on 6th Floor Room 608, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on August 28.

The disclosure of cases of private gay parties was carried out undercover. Police officers entered the place. As a result, the officers found dozens of naked men partying.

In this case, the police arrested 56 people and named 9 people as suspects. These suspects are the organizers of the gay sex party activity.

They are, TRF people who rent rooms and receive payments from participants; BA is in charge of preparing consumption; NA is in charge of maintaining security and checking that participants are not allowed to carry firearms and drugs.

"KG is the guardian of the participant's goods, SP for registration, NM, RP, and HW in charge of picking up participants in the lobby, and A in the consumption section," he said.

Yusri said that the 9 people were charged under Article 296 of the Criminal Procedure Code and / or 33 in conjunction with Article 7 of Law 44 of 2008 with a threat of 1, 10 years to 15 years.
