4 Chairman of PAC Medan Who Supports Akhyar Will Be Fired from PDIP

MEDAN - The demonstration of Akhyar Nasution's loyalists to reject Bobby Nasution made the 4 PAC heads for the Medan area removed from their posts. But not only that, the membership status of Akhyar loyalists was proposed to be revoked.

"We'll continue the dismissal of party membership," said the head of the DPC PDIP Medan, Hasyim, to reporters in Medan, Tuesday, September 1.

The four PDIP PAC Chairmen who were dismissed from their posts were Medan Area, Medan Perjuangan, Medan Johor, and Medan Selayang. The four positions are now filled by acting officers (plt). 

“This Plt Decree is the result of a plenary meeting to discuss the demonstrations by several PAC officials after the mayor candidate recommendation. Because there was a PAC chairman who was disobedient, we were ordered to hold a plenary meeting," said Hasyim.

He reminded that the four removed PAC heads would no longer speak on behalf of the party. Hasyim emphasized that PDIP is ready to process the law of profiteers of party names.

"We are hoping for the release of the PAC deactivation. Also, the proposal to the DPP, which is related to dismissal as membership. If someone is still talking on behalf of the party, of course, it is illegal. Of course, we will object and report them to the police for legal proceedings," he continued.

In addition to the dismissal of 4 PAC leaders who are loyal to Akhyar, the PDIP also listed cadres who disagree to the decision to carry Bobby Nasution in the Medan Regional Election. PDIP said Bobby could win the Pilkada from his challenger Akhyar Nasution-Salman Alfarisi.

"We are still optimistic that Bobby-Aulia has a bigger chance. The people of Medan want a significant change in Medan. So far, none. The hope is with Bobby-Aulia. Still young, energetic, creative, and innovative, and still clean from problems related to corruption," said Hasyim.
