Number_i Presents EP GOD_i, Bring Melancholic To Energy

JAKARTA - The Japanese music unit Number_i presented their latest EP titled GOD_i on May 19 yesterday. The mini album contains six songs featuring the main single Frisko along with previous releases, songs occupying the Japanese Billboard #1, GOD_i and HIRAKEGOMA.

To welcome this new music, Number_i - consisting of Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji and Yuta Kishi - will make their debut festival in North America as the main performers at Head In The Clouds on June 1 at Brookside at Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA. They had previously also appeared in the 88rising Futures show at Coachella 2024.

Known for music that combines various genres and high-energy performances, Number_i will bring their distinctive style into the lineup of this festival. Tickets and more information are available at la.hitcfestival.com.

Back to EP material, the main song from this mini album, debuted #1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 chart earlier this year, which further strengthened the group's rapid growth in the global music scene. The song was produced by group members Yuta Kishi, delivering a strong message giving the courage to move forward'.

Then HIRAKEGOMA is a new pop style song containing catchy lyrics with heavy and powerful rhythms, also appearing on their debut album in 2024, No.I, which means open the door' in Japanese. Other songs highlight the flexibility of each musician. Obviously is a classic track full of bass, while the songs 'i_Dog' and 'PSycho' display Number_i with a more assertive side.

The release of GOD_i came after this group received the Best Music Group' award at GQ Japan's Men Of The Year 2024.
