FX Rudy Talks About Puan Maharani Who Inaugurated Legi Market In Central Java: This Is History, Executives Should Not Be Legislative Tasks

JAKARTA - Chairperson of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, inaugurated the Legi Market in Solo. The chairman of the Surakarta PDIP DPC, FX Hadi Rudyatmo who was also present, commented on the historic moment when a DPR chairman inaugurated the market.

During the inauguration, Puan hoped that the economy in Solo could recover after being hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Madam is not alone. He came accompanied by a number of DPR members on Thursday, January 20. PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono and Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka also accompanied Puan.

Legi market caught fire in 2018 and made the 250 stalls inside it could not be saved. In her statement, Puan said that at that time she was still serving as Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture and gave serious attention.

"I have a special emotional bond with Surakarta which is part of my electoral district, namely Central Java V, so I have been paying special attention since 2018 regarding the renovation of Legi Market, including seeing the progress of its construction in 2021," he said.

The renovation started in 2020 by the Ministry of PUPR with a total value of Rp. 114.72 billion. Puan came when the construction was about 50 percent running.
