Gus Yahya Registers PBNU Management With Kemenkumham

JAKARTA - General Chairperson of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU) KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) registered the composition of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board for the solemn 2022-2027 period to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights.

Quoted by Antara, KH Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) in his statement said that his visit to the Ministry of Law and Human Rights on Friday afternoon, January 21, 2022, was also to report the results of the 34th NU Congress.

Gus Yahya hopes that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights can immediately issue a letter determining the management of the PBNU for the solemn period of 2022 to 2027.

"We hope that the management decision can be issued before the inauguration process, which God willing, we will do on January 31, 2022 in East Kalimantan," said Gus Yahya.

To Minister Yasona, Gus Yahya also told that the composition of the PBNU management for the first time embraced various parties. Women figures were also included in the core management of PBNU.

Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly welcomed the arrival of Gus Yahya who came with the core PBNU management including Secretary General Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul), Deputy General Chairperson Nusron Wahid, Chairman Amin Said Husni, Deputy Secretary General Abdul Qodir and Deputy Secretary General Sulaiman.

"The arrival of Gus Yahya is an extraordinary honor for me and for the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," said Minister Yasonna.

Minister Yasonna during the meeting also congratulated the election of KH Yahya Cholil Staquf as the General Chair of PBNU.

"I really appreciate it because the implementation of this congress took place smoothly, coolly and without turmoil," said Minister Yasonna.
