Missing 4 Days, Middle-aged Woman Found Dead In Depok Starfruit Garden

DEPOK - A middle-aged woman was found dead by two residents in Pancoran Mas, Depok City. The victim is known as Sumiati (65).

The Head of Sub-Division of Public Relations of the Depok Police, Kompol Supriyadi, confirmed the discovery. The incident occurred on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 11.30 WIB.

"It is true that the body of a woman was found in the Poin Mas housing estate," said Supriyadi when confirmed, Friday, January 21.

Supriyadi explained that initially the discovery came from two residents, Syahrul and Subekti when they headed to the Starfruit Garden, Depok.

Arriving, Syahrul suspected that there was a human body in the water canal of the starfruit garden. So that invites Subekti to check the discovery.

"After checking, it was true that there was a woman's body lying at the scene lying in the water channel. The position was slightly prone and had started to rot," he said.

Supriyadi revealed that the victim had a senile disease. It is known that Sumiati has been missing from her home since January 16, 2022.

"The victim is very senile and has a mild stroke and can still walk," he said.
