The KPK Will Investigate The Involvement Of PT Soyu Giri Primedika's Boss Regarding The Bribery Of Judge Itong

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will investigate the involvement of the boss of PT Soyu Giri Primedika (SGP) related to the bribery case handling the case at the Surabaya District Court. Moreover, the provision of bribes related to the dissolution of the company.

"We are still seeing developments in the next process," said Nawawi, quoted from the Indonesian KPK's YouTube show, Friday, January 21.

Nawawi said that the number of suspects who had been named on Thursday, January 20 after the arrest operation (OTT) could be increased. Moreover, the development of allegations of bribery will continue to be carried out during later investigations.

In this case, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has designated the inactive Surabaya District Court Judge Itong Isnaeni Hidayat and the substitute clerk, Hamdan, as recipients of bribes. While the giver is a lawyer and representative of PT Soyu Giri Primedika, Hendro Kasiono.

"So what we show, we determine, this is not the end of the process of developing this case," he said.

"We will develop this case to the level that we think our investigators should do," added Nawawi.

It was previously reported that Hakim Itong was suspected of receiving the money through a substitute clerk named Hamdan. The money was given by Hendro Kasiono so that the decision on the PT SGP case was according to his will, namely it was declared disbanded with a divisible value of IDR 50 billion in assets.

The money given by Hendro to Hamdan was carried out in the parking lot of the Surabaya District Court Building with a value of Rp140 million. However, before the money was in the hands of Hakim Itong, the anti-corruption commission had conducted an OTT.

For their actions, Itong and Hamdan are suspected of violating Article 12 letter c or Article 11 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication Corruption Crime Jo Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Hendro is suspected of violating Article 6 paragraph (1) letter a or Article 13 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication Corruption Crimes Jo Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 of the Criminal Code.
