Dozens of graves at the TPU Kober, East Cengkareng, West Jakarta, were flooded. The water level reaches 30 centimeters. Heavy rains that have washed over Jakarta for the past two days have flooded dozens of tombs. As a result, some of the tombs were submerged while others were only visible tomb stones. The flood at the Kober TPU has been since 2002. The cemetery caretaker said that the cause of the flooding in this TPU was a lot of housing construction that closed the rice fields around the tomb, hampering water disposal and finally soaking the grave soil.
