North Sumatra Langkat Regent, Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin Being A Corruption Suspect At KPK, A Conspiracy To Earn Money From The Project

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has named the Regent of Langkat, North Sumatra, as a corruption suspect. In addition to the issuance of Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin, his brother Iskandar PA (ISK) was named a suspect.

How is the construction of the Langkat Regent's corruption case?

The KPK, through its Deputy Chair, Nurul Ghufron, explained that the issuance of Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin (TRP) together with his brother Iskandar PA (ISK), made arrangements for the implementation of the infrastructure work project package in Langkat Regency.

"In carrying out this arrangement, the TRP suspect ordered SJ (Sujarno) as the Acting Head of PUPR District of Langkat Regency and SH (Suhardi) as the Head of the Procurement of Goods and Services to actively coordinate with the suspect ISK (Iskandar PA) as a representative of the suspect TRP (Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin), related to the selection of which partner will be appointed as the winner of the project work package at the PUPR Service and the Education Office," said Ghufron.

In order to be the winner of the work project package, it is suspected that there is a request for a percentage fee by the Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin (TRP) through Iskandar PA (ISK) with a percentage value of 15 percent of the project value for the work package through the auction stage and a percentage value of 16.5 percent of the value project for direct appointment package.

Furthermore, one of the partners selected and won to work on the project in the 2 services was Muara Perangin Angin (MR) using several company flags, and the total value of the project package being carried out was IDR 4.3 billion.

Ghufron explained that apart from being carried out by partners, there were also several projects being carried out by Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin through the company owned by the suspect Iskandar PA (ISK).

"The fee given by suspect MR was allegedly carried out in cash in the amount of around IDR 786 million which was received through the intermediary of suspect MSA (Marcos Surya Abdi/contractor), suspect SC (Shuhanda Citra/contractor) and suspect IS (Isfi Syahfitra) to then be given to the suspect UTI (Iskandar) and forwarded again to the suspect of the TRP (Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin)," said Ghufron.

It is suspected that in receiving and managing fees from various projects in Langkat Regency, Terbit Rencana Perangin Angin using trusted people, namely Iskandar, Marcos Surya Abdi, Shuhanda Citra and the suspect Isfi Syahfitra.

"It is also suspected that there were many other receipts by the TRP suspect through UTI suspect from various partners and this will be further investigated by the Investigative Team," said Ghufron.
