Again, Accident At Pesing Flyover, Automatic Motorbike Hits With Transjakarta Bus

JAKARTA – Not long ago, a Nissan car hit a motorcyclist and plunged from the Pesing flyover. At the same location, there was another accident involving a Transjakarta bus with an automatic motorbike.

The Transjakarta bus numbered NRKB B 7178 PGA driven by MH (initials) crashed into RY, an automatic motorcycle rider. Luckily there were no casualties in the incident.

"The reason was a lack of concentration and caution, so the accident occurred," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Arga Dija Putra when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, January 19.

AKBP Arga said that when the Transjakarta bus was traveling on Flyover Pesing I, suddenly a motorcycle with the number B 5287 BBU driven by RY drove and tried to overtake the bus by overtaking it from the left.

"RY wanted to overtake to the left so that it hit the rear tire of the Transjakarta driven by MH," he explained.

As a result of the incident, the motorcyclist was injured.

"The victim suffered a laceration to the right leg. The victim has been treated at the Sumber Waras Hospital. There were no fatalities," he said.

This case is handled by the Head of Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Polda Metro Jaya.
