Gaga Muhammad's 4-year Sentence, Greta Irene Admits She's Satisfied Even Though She Doesn't Return Laura Anna

JAKARTA - The elder sister of the late Laura Anna, Greta Irene, said she was satisfied with the decision of the East Jakarta District Court (PN Jaktim) which sentenced the defendant Gaga Muhammad to four years and six months in prison.

Greta Irene also expressed her gratitude to the judge presiding over the trial of Gaga Muhammad for delivering justice.

"Sufficiently satisfied with the verdict that the judge gave. He is the one who understands and knows best," said Greta Irene after the trial of Gaga Muhammad's verdict at the East Jakarta District Court, Wednesday.

Greta Irene said that the sentence of four and a half years in prison was enough to try Gaga Muhammad's actions.

"For me personally, that's enough. No matter how long the punishment is, it won't bring Laura back," Greta said.

The defendant Gaga Muhammad was sentenced to four and a half years in prison at the trial at the East Jakarta District Court, Wednesday.

The Panel of Judges assessed that Gaga Muhammad was proven guilty of committing a crime as charged by the Public Prosecutor.

"Senting Gaung Sabda Alam Muhammad a prison sentence of four years and six months and a fine of IDR 10 million," said Lingga Setiawan as the Chief Judge when reading the verdict at the East Jakarta District Court.

The panel of judges also added that Gaga Muhammad must also serve two months in prison if the fine is not paid.

Regarding the verdict, Gaga's attorney Muhammad stated that he was still thinking about filing an appeal.
