"Officers went straight to S's house, when they were searched they found evidence of 1 laptop. However, S was not there and the perpetrator was taken to the West Medan Police for further questioning," he said.
The suspect admitted all his actions. The stolen money is used to buy daily necessities.
"The money amounting to Rp 800 thousand was taken home by the suspect and used for daily food needs and to buy medicine for the suspect's parents," said Kompol Ruzi.
For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 362 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 5 years in prison.
