"The vaccine used for booster vaccination is Pfizer. Not one dose is injected, but half a dose," Bobby said after witnessing the booster vaccination for the elderly at the PB Selayang II Health Center, Medan, Monday (17/1).

Bobby explained that the booster vaccination requirement is only for the elderly and must have received a complete dose of vaccination or two injections and a minimum of six months after the second dose injection.

Bobby admitted that the Medan City Government currently has 20,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine which will be used to carry out booster vaccinations for the general public.

In order to support the smooth running of this booster vaccination, he continued, his party has coordinated with the North Sumatra Provincial Government assisted by the Commander of the I/BB Regional Military Command Major General Hassanudin and the North Sumatran Police Chief Inspector General of Police RZ Panca Putra Simanjuntak to increase the dose of the vaccine.

"We are chasing the elderly who have been vaccinated twice and have been vaccinated for the second dose for six months. We will inject the 20,000 dose as soon as possible," explained Bobby.
