Doddy Sudrajat Meets Haji Faisal, KPAI Appreciates Gala Parenting Agreement

JAKARTA - The Head of the Supervision, Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), Jasra Putra, said that the agreement between the family of the late Vanessa Angel and the family of the late Bibi Andriansyah to jointly raise Gala Sky's children deserves appreciation.

The KPAI statement responded to the meeting of Doddy Sudrajat, Vanessa Angel's father, with Haji Faisal, Bibi Andriansyah's father. The meeting, which went viral, took place on Sunday, January 16.

"The public is certainly very relieved by H. Faisal's statement on the intention of co-parenting in the video that has just circulated," he said, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 17.

Jasra stated that the agreement reached through the meeting of the two families was the best for Gala Sky.

"I think what happened to Mr. Doddy's visit to H. Faisal's house was an agreement in the best interests of little G," he said, and what these two families did was an inspiration to other families.

Jasra explained that children who experience separation from parenting often experience mental disorders. "Some children's conditions due to separation of care, often in the long term cause mental disorders from mild to severe," he said.

Children who grow up only in one parent's family called KPAI can have feelings of guilt because they also think about the families of other parents.

Moreover, a child is usually not easy to express things that are a burden on his mind. "Once again, it is not easy for children to describe their true condition because they are disturbed in the vortex of adult conflict, because they want to love everything as it used to be," he said.

Therefore, KPAI hopes that joint parenting can meet Gala Sky's needs for love, attachment, safety and prosperity that are permanent and sustainable for its future interests.
