JAKARTA - TNI ranks are actively involved in helping to overcome the spread of COVID-19 in the country. TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa emphasized that incentives for soldiers and ranks who were actively involved could reach those concerned. A few days ago, after attending a limited meeting regarding the evaluation of the implementation of PPKM with President Joko Widodo some time ago. The meeting was related to several issues of concern for economic recovery as well as collaborating with the TNI and Polri in administering vaccines for children.

General Andika Perkasa conveyed instructions in a coordination meeting via teleconference with all ranks of the Commander of the TNI Main Command to soldiers and PPKM implementers in all regions according to Presidential Instruction Number 6 of 2021.

"I have given the Head of the Financial Center how many days to verify to ensure that the reported account is a salary account. What is important is that we give them their rights," he said as broadcast on the Youtube page of @Jenderal TNI Andika Perkasa on January 14.

The issue of implementing PPKM due to the surge in the spread of COVID-19, especially the Omicron variant, is the concern of all parties. The government under the direction of President Jokowi also pays special attention to this matter.

General Andika Perkasa also conveyed to his staff to make a report when there were obstacles and prominent events.
