BULELENG - A young man with the initials GSP (18) from Singaraja, Buleleng Regency, Bali, was arrested by the police for committing theft in a number of places.

"The perpetrators are recidivists, specialists in taking other people's belongings in boarding houses where their occupants are," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Buleleng Police AKP Yogie Pramagita Wednesday, January 12.

The disclosure of the perpetrator started from the victim's report in three different places. The first was at SMA Dwijendra, Singaraja with the loss of a projector and laptop.

"The laptop that was placed in the cupboard was also lost, so with the loss of these items the school suffered a loss of Rp. 20 million," added AKP Yogie.

The police arrested the perpetrator on Jalan Pahlawan, Singaraja, Buleleng. The perpetrator admitted the theft.

A number of items of evidence were secured from laptops to projectors as well as the perpetrator's motorbike. The perpetrators were charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code.

"Some of the items that were taken by the perpetrators were sold to other parties and the proceeds of the sale were used for the needs and needs of the perpetrators themselves and some of the items in the form of cellphones were still with the perpetrators," he said.
