Rape Of Students, Herry Wirawan Demands The Death Penalty, Abu Janda: It Is Appropriate For Ustaz Predator

JAKARTA - The defendant in the case of raping 13 female students in Bandung, Herry Wirawan, was sentenced to death by the public prosecutor. Herry was found guilty of committing such acts of obscenity against dozens of his students.

The prosecutor's demand was responded positively by social media activist Permadi Arya alias Abu Janda. For him, these demands are appropriate for someone like Herry Wirawan.

"But I am satisfied with the demand for the death penalty from the prosecutor... death is appropriate for a predatory cleric who preys on his students, you die," said Abu Janda through his official Instagram account, @permadiaktivis2, reported Wednesday, January 12.

Abu Janda then alluded to the statement he had issued when this case first emerged. At that time, Abu Janda said, this case further proved that rape was not a matter of women's clothing.

Indeed, there are many issues that arise when cases of rape are born due to overly sexy women's clothes. But this is refuted by the existence of this case.

"When I made the content "don't control women's clothes, SAY YOUR BRAIN FIRST".. Kadrun all over Indonesia have convulsions in congregation, apparently for them it's too hard to control their brains so they don't get dirty," said Abu Janda.

"BRAVO PAK Prosecutor, I hope (the defendant, ed) will soon go to hell," continued Abu Janda.

Herry Wirawan, accused of raping 13 female students in Bandung, West Java, is being sentenced to death by prosecutors.

"In our demands, first we demand the defendant with the death penalty. As proof of our commitment to provide a deterrent effect on the perpetrators or on other parties who will commit (sexual) crimes," said Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office Asep N Mulyana after the trial at the District Court. Class IA Bandung, Tuesday, January 11th.

Asep who became the public prosecutor also revealed that the second charge against the defendant was in the form of additional punishment in the form of chemical castration.

"Secondly, we also imposed or asked the judge to impose additional penalties in the form of identity announcements distributed through judges and additional penalties in the form of chemical castration," he said.

The third claim, Asep said, his party also asked the panel of judges to impose a sentence of IDR 500 million and a subsidiary for one year in prison and oblige the defendant to pay restitution to the children of the victims, a total of IDR 330 million.
