Continuing To Increase, Today's Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Hospital Filled With 2,066 Beds

JAKARTA - There was an increase in the occupancy rate for treating COVID-19 patients at the Kemayoran Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital today.

Head of Information for Kogabwilhan I, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said, as of today there are 88 people who have just entered the Athlete's House as COVID-19 isolation patients.

"There are 2,066 inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital. At first there were 1,978 people being treated and today there are 88 people," said Aris in his statement, Tuesday, January 11.

In detail, there are 1,162 women and 904 men who are undergoing isolation in a number of towers at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

So, since the beginning of being used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020 until now, the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Hospital has treated 132,677 corona virus patients.

"There were 130,611 patients discharged with details 128,954 recovered, 1,061 were referred to other hospitals, and 596 people died," he said.

Currently, all isolated patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people without symptoms and people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate. Then, the case of the Omicron variant was also isolated at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.

Then, the isolation capacity of the Nagrak Cilincing Flats today has 1,784 beds filled with isolation patients. Yesterday, the Nagrak Flat was filled with 2,112 patients. Today there are 328 patients.
