LOMBOK - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) awarded the managers of four tourist villages in West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara for their creativity in the Indonesian Tourism Village Award (ADWI) in 2021.

The award from the ministry, led by Sandiaga Uno, was handed over by the Head of Destinations of the NTB Tourism Office (Dispar), Ahlul Wakti to representatives of each tourist village manager in Mataram today.

The four tourist villages in West Lombok Regency that received awards were Mekarsari Tourism Village, Central Sekotong Tourism Village, Senggigi Tourism Village, and Banyumulek Tourism Village.

According to Ahlul, the award is a form of appreciation from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy for the creativity of the managers and also to make these villages as Assisted Villages of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy.

Meanwhile, the Village Head of Senggigi Mastur expressed his gratitude for the award given by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. In the future, his party will maximize the existing potential for the development of the village.

"Hopefully in the future, we can improve performance and existing attractions, especially in Senggigi Village," he said.

The Head of Human Resources for Tourism Dispar West Lombok Regency Erwin Rachman also feels proud of the existing achievements.
