Exhibiting The Revitalization Of Tebet Park Which Has Not Been Opened, Anies: Be Patient

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan shared a portrait of himself visiting a park in Tebet, South Jakarta, which is still in the process of being revitalized. This park has the name Tebet Eco Park.

Currently, Tebet Park has not been opened to the public. The revitalization work has reached 90 percent. Anies asked people who want to visit this park to be patient.

"Please be patient, friends, at this time the Tebet Eco Park has not been opened, we continue to push the completion of construction as quickly as possible. However, of course, the best results should not be done in a hurry. So that later visitors can enjoy the atmosphere of the park more comfortably and safely ," said Anies in the aniesbaswedan Instagram account, Monday, January 10.

The eco park concept that is promoted in this revitalization project has a vision to restore the function of the park in an ecological manner. The function of gray space in the park is changed to green open space and blue open space as a response to natural control problems, especially floods and water crises.

Interestingly, Anies said that there is public accessibility to natural features in the park through an infinity-shaped pedestrian bridge that connects two previously separated Tebet parks.

"One of the most interesting is the Infinity Connecting Bridge which connects Taman Tebet Utara and Taman Tebet Selatan, which were previously separated from Jalan Tebet Raya," said Anies.

The existing river in the park is also naturalized by widening and changing the profile of the embankment, so that it can become a retention pond when it rains. Another interesting infrastructure is a nursery, and thematic gardens, especially for the gardening community, as well as being a place for children to play.

Overall, Anies said, the seven-hectare park will have 8 interesting places, including Forest Buffer, Link Bridge, Community Lawn, Wetland Boardwalk, Children Playground, Plaza, Community Garden, and Thematic Garden.
