Ganjar Pranowo Praises Megawati's Speech: Very Shocking To Us

JAKARTA - The PDI-P is celebrating its 49th anniversary today. The Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, who is also a PDIP cadre, wished a happy birthday to the party he had participated in since he was in college.

"Yes, today is PDIP's birthday, I wish PDIP a happy birthday. I am happy, because the event was quite lively. We are talking about culinary, there are competitions and festivals and they are complementary foods not staple foods. And it turned out to be good and very creative The champions are Central Java, there are Banyumas and Jepara. I think it's good," said Ganjar at his office, Monday, January 10.

Ganjar said the event which was held on the anniversary of PDIP was very interesting. All regions bring out local potential in a culinary context.

But what Ganjar found very interesting was the remarks from the Chairperson of the PDIP, Megawati Soekarno Putri. According to Ganjar, Megawati's message was very jarring and stuck in the heart.

"Mrs. has a message to us, cadres never turn their backs on the people. I think that's a very jarring message," he said.

Ganjar interpreted the message that all PDIP cadres should not leave the people. All must come down to serve the community.

"We have to show concern for the community in their respective fields. If I am the executive, yes in the executive field. The matter is how to handle public complaints, how to serve them, respond to people's problems one by one," he said.

Asked whether Ganjar was present in person at the PDIP anniversary commemoration, he said he was present virtually.

"Earlier I went virtual, because the invitation was online. I didn't attend in person because the invitation to me was online. It can't be crowded," he concluded.
