Cirebon Pursues Target, All Children Age 6-11 Years Must Be Vaccinated

JAKARTA - The Cirebon City Government, West Java, targets that on January 21, 2022, the COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6-11 years, totaling 31,000 people, will be completed.

"We are accelerating that the COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 6-11 years on January 21 has been completed", said Cirebon City Regional Secretary, Agus Mulyadi, in Cirebon on Friday, January 7, as reported by Antara.

He said that initially, the Cirebon City Government targeted to complete vaccination for children in early February 2021, but after a directive, it will be accelerated.

For this reason, his party asked the Health Office to reschedule the vaccination to accelerate the achievement of vaccination.

"Initially we targeted it to be completed in early February 2021", he said.

To speed up the COVID-19 vaccination, his party will ask for help from all health workers, both from the TNI (Army), Police, and others.

"The place for vaccination is still the same, namely in each school", he said.
