JAKARTA - Blown by strong winds, a shady tree in the Konimex office, Jalan Wahid Hasyim, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, fell on two cars belonging to residents.

Head of the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-dept., Mila Ananda, confirmed that two vehicles were hit by a tree.

"One car belongs to the Central Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-Department and one private car," he said when contacted by reporters, Friday, January 7.

However, the exact cause of the fall of the tree is not yet known by the park. They are still looking for the exact cause of the fallen tree.

"The tree is not big, the diameter is 30 centimeters. The car was not badly damaged," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the repair of damaged cars, Mila said that his party was still coordinating with the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forest Service, whether an insurance claim could be made for the car.
